Halloween is a holiday which is celebrated on 31st October. The name ‘halloween’ is an abbreviation for ‘All Hallows Eve’. On this day the youths dress up as monsters(vampires, ghosts, witches, devils), scare and play pranks on people. Children dress up as good goblins and politely ask people to give them some sweets (if people don’t give them any sweets, children play a prank on them).
There are lots of games connected with Halloween: boobing for apples, jumping over candles, throwing nuts into a burning fire. Lots of various omens become the effect of all of these.
